Direct Port Nitrous System Honda Prelude
The Honda Prelude has a couple different tuner motors. The one is the H22 and the other is the h23. With the use of direct port nitrous kits, you can almost double OEM engine output.
Bringing up the h22 and h23 for only direct port nitrous systems would be playing favorites. There are also other Prelude motors that can utilize direct port nitrous systems. The F22, and the F20. These motors are more so less popular in the states than in other countries. The use of nitrous systems on any of the Preludes motors is fine. But the direct port systems offer you much more than a single port could ever offer.
Direct port systems give each and every cylinder a completely equal amount of nitrous. Unlike single port systems, that can puddle nitrous, or just give one cylinder more nitrous than the others, this system is flawless. The reason why you would want every single cylinder to have an equal amount of nitrous is simple.
Each cylinder will fire out an amount of power with each explosions. If one cylinder is making more power from its explosions that the other cylinders, it creates a more disruptive force in the engine mechanics. Like everything in the engine, you want it to run smooth. This prolongs engine life and makes better power.
Direct port nitrous systems usually are complete out of the box. Most come with 1 bottle, 4 ports that go into your injectors, nitrous plumbing, purge system, solenoids. That all depends on which manufacturer you are using.
Direct port nitrous systems are the nitrous system you should use. There is no better or safer kit out there.
