Adjustable Fuel Pressure Gauge for the

Adjustable Fuel Pressure Gauge

When using the Honda Prelude for racing applications you must take certain precautions.  Using an adjustable fuel pressure gauge can not only make more power.  But it can also protect your car.  Tuning your cars engine to work correctly is 99 percent of racing it.  If your car isn't functioning properly than there is no point in racing it.

  • Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator
  • Changing the fuel pressure to suit your cars air to fuel needs.

Tuning your cars fuel pressure is something that is over looked. Some people are running larger intake manifold volumn, and some are using larger injectors.  When doing this it is a good idea to change the air to fuel ratio.  This is accomplished by using an adjustable fuel pressure regulator.

Turning the fuel pressure up or down can change a lot of things.  You can either start to run rich, or run lean.  You want to be in the middle when it comes to tuning.  Bad things can happen when you run lean, or when you run to rich.  This is not a good idea, if you use your car for racing events.

Tuning is key when it comes to your adjustable fuel pressure regulator.  It is recommended that you use tuning tools like a wide ban o2 sensor to truly see your air to fuel ratio.  There are other alternatives to this.  You can pull your spark plugs and tune according to them.  If your plugs are to black, turn your fuel pressure down.  If they are too white, turn your fuel pressure up.  Make sure that you clean your plugs every time you pull them so that you can tell the next time that everything on the plugs, reads from the last engine read out.

Adjustable fuel pressure regulators are a great idea.  Using them on the Honda Prelude will help to smooth everything out entirely.
