Honda Prelude Drag Racing

Honda Prelude's are not really what you would expect to see drag racing.  However there are some individuals who would disagree with out.  Companies like Oaks racing deserve recognition for their success in the Prelude's drag racing scene.  This company is breaking the mold when it comes to their Prelude's.  There are very few other's out there who can compete with these guys.  They are always improving their track times, and have the current world record for the Honda Prelude's drag times.  They hold it in the 10 second range and want to see 9's next year. 
 
Drag racing is something that takes some skill.  It is more than just putting the pedal to the metal.  It requires excellent shifting skills, and a lot of effort on the building process.  Getting a car to go zero to sixty in less than 4 seconds is something Porche can do.  When its done on a Honda, that is a whole new ball game.  drag racing is a spectator event to.  Many individuals fill the seats on drag racing competitions and cheer on the races.  Drag racing is different that street racing.  At the drag strip everything is legal.  There are certain requirements that are needed for one to be able to drive there.  Helmets, and seat belts for one.  Also there are bracket classes that have their own rules and regualtions.
